Teachers of the Year

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Holly Corbit, who is one of our amazing ML teachers and our TA of the year, Mrs. Ashley Wilkins, who can be found all over the building supporting small groups and classrooms.

So well deserved! We are lucky to have both of you as a member of Team BCE!

Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

We are grateful for your partnership in our fundraising efforts through the Pledge for Paws campaign! As you know, our dedicated teachers and administrators work tirelessly to meet the needs of our students. The BCE PTA provides additional resources, funding, and events to support their efforts. We are looking for partnerships with businesses and organizations to help us continue this important work. All donations directly support programs that benefit students in our community and are fully tax-deductible. Look for a flyer in Cougar folders this week containing information about PTA sponsorship opportunities. If your business would like to learn more about partnership options, please reach out to Monica Montesano. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our students and school community

Staff Members of the Month

Congrats to Ms. Siliko and Mrs. Schwartz, our February staff members of the month! To celebrate, each of you will receive a gift card to a store and your picture will be posted in the office on campus! Thank you for helping to make BCE such a special place.
Highlights from your nominations:
Ms. Siliko (Kindergarten Teacher): "Ms Siliko is an awesome addition to the BCE staff. It's her first year in CMS and she is doing amazing work in the kindergarten classroom. She is kind, communicative and organized. I am so thrilled our daughter has been placed in her class where she is loved and thriving.”
Mrs. Schwartz (TD Teacher): "Mrs. Schwartz did an amazing job working with our 3rd grade mathematicians for this year’s Mathapoolza. Particularly, she helped make our daughter feel comfortable participating this year, and due to Mrs. Schwartz’s preparation, she had a blast. She always is a friendly and welcoming face for those early morning drop offs in the carpool line!”

Thank you to everyone who submitted nominations this year for our incredible BCE staff and teachers!
